The Bellyrub Klub is a 20K s.f. Daycare and Training facility.  We offer 16K s.f. of indoor space and 6500 s.f. of outdoor play space. We are growing, adding new services and focused on providing the best care, emotionally and physically for each and every dog we care for.

This role requires candidates who want to learn all they can about dog, are willing to go through training to guide and help you to be the most effective you can at managing play groups, enriching all canine's stays with us, providing structure and play time coupled with the ability and desire to develop strong mutually respectful relationships with all canines we care for.

Career Advancement opportunities are available.  There is an opportunity to be moved into a management position taking over the responsibility of ensuring a smooth operation, training staff, organizing the day and helping create play groups so EVERY dog enjoys their day and leaves physically AND mentally balanced and tired


Education Required

Dog experience in the Pet Care Industry with the desire to never stop learning.  Formal education about dogs is a HUGE plus:  Certifications, seminars, additional studies, etc.

Bellyrub Klub Off Leash Play Attendant/Pet Care Specialist

Engage in activities with, oversee play, monitor behavior, provide enrichment opportunities and help create safe and fun Off Leash Play Groups for all canine guests (Certification in Dog Training strongly preferred)

 Comfortable in a fast paced, sometimes unpredictable environment
 Participate in cleaning throughout the day
 Work with and care for our Belly Up for Adoption Rescue dogs

Necessary Requirements:
 Ability to read Canine Body Language and how your Body language and approach effects the canines
 Ability to understand and identify a variety of canine Play Styles
 Passion for all breeds, ages and canine personalities
 Must be able to develop strong leadership relationships with canines
 Knowledge of Dog to Dog Communication & Dog to Human Communication
 Knowledge of Basic Obedience commands and how to illicit behaviors from             dogs in play sessions (and willingness to learn through regular training)

 Desire to continue to further your education about everything dog
 Concern for safety, physical and emotional and well- being of all canines while in our care
